From 31st March to 13th April, take on the challenge of walking 3km while fundraising for wildlife along the way. With the support of Aardman and your favorite Timmy Time characters, you’ll not only enjoy the outdoors but also help create a safer world for hedgehogs, badgers, and more. The Wilder Communities project focuses on empowering communities to take action for nature. Through work with community groups, charities and local people, we can provide support and advise on the best ways to manage land for the benefit of biodiversity and increase the nature network throughout the county. We can give opportunities for local people to learn and gain training on the techniques to monitor wildlife so that they can gain confidence in conservation techniques and witness the positive affects of the steps that they are making. This project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Ashley Family Foundation.
