Practical conservation volunteering

We have two members of staff who look after the practical day-to-day work of managing our 17 nature reserves.  This doesn't always mean being out and about on the nature reserves.  Some of the work involves planning, research, budgeting, health and safety and policy work.

Volunteers help us achieve a good deal of the practical work which can include hedge-laying, path maintenance, scrub clearing and bracken cutting.

Much of the work is carried out on a Tuesday and there is a maximum number that the staff are able to supervise.  If you're interested in this type of volunteering, please contact us at info@rwtwales.org
