Join us at Gilfach Nature Reserve for a day celebrating the incredible journeys of migratory fish. Hosted by Radnorshire Wildlife Trust in partnership with the Upper Wye Catchment Restoration Project, the event offers activities for all ages:

  • Pond and river dipping at the visitor centre
  • Short, guided river walk
  • View the waterfall where salmon leap each November
  • Informal talks on fish migration, the salmon lifecycle, and river conservation
  • Learn about barriers to fish movement, habitat restoration, and our ongoing projects

No booking required! Come and explore the river, discover how fish move through our waterways, and see the work being done to protect these vital habitats.

There will be some refreshments available at the Visitors Centre.
