About the event

It's that time of the year when the valley at Gilfach is filled by the songs of the Wood, Willow and Garden Warblers. Join local naturalist Red Liford for a bird walk around this magical reserve, and keep your ears open for the increasing scarce call of the Cuckoo around Pont Marteg, and Pied Flycatchers and Redstarts around the Visitor Centre.

If you are an experienced bird watcher, or even a complete beginner, then this is your chance to expand your knowledge.

Be sure to bring sturdy footwear, a notebook, and a pair of binoculars to get the most out of this walk!
