About the event

Join us for a walk led by Bill Stow, keen walker and Trustee of Radnorshire Wildlife Trust, our Pentwyn Project Officer, Wilder Lugg Project Officer. In addition, we'll also be welcoming external guest, Katie Appleby, Curlew Connections Wales Project Officer. Learn about our recent work at Pentwyn and Cwnch Bank, as well as our new River Lugg project and opportunities for nature based solutions around the Lugg. Then hear from Katie about her work to protect Curlews in Wales.

We'll also take part in the 15-minute Big River Watch citizen science survey!

This will be a 5-6 miles walk and will involve uneven terrain and uphill walking. Please make sure to wear sturdy boots and warm, waterproof clothing. Please be aware that although we will take the walk slowly and there will be breaks whilst we hear from the speakers, sections of this walk will be a moderately strenuous. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water with you.
