About the event

Roaming flocks of tit species as well as Nuthatch and Treecreeper are often seen in woodland in the autumn time.  Wrap up warmly and join us to find out which birds are out and about this autumn at the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust Reserve, Withybeds, Presteigne.  There is boardwalk access at Withybeds Reserve, but come prepared for cold weather and footwear suitable for the outdoors is advised.

A circular boardwalk suitable for wheelchairs.

By foot from Presteigne town centre, go down Pound Lane off the High Street, turn left onto Mill Lane and follow public footpath directly towards reserve.

By car from Presteigne, take the B4355 towards Knighton. After 400m turn into a small car park on the right.  Walk through the meadow along the Old Leat to reach the reserve.

Access is via a boardwalk

What to bring

Warm clothing and footwear  suitable for the outdoors is advisable.  Do bring a drink and food if wanted. Bring binoculars if you have them.
