Find your 3Rs in Wild Radnorshire!

Radnorshire Wildlife Trust (RWT) has 17 nature reserves that are open to everyone and free of charge.  We want more people to know where they are and how to enjoy them whilst protecting them for their wildlife importance.

This new project Find your 3Rs in Wild Radnorshire funded by National Lottery Awards for All aims to:

  • Restore   well-being by going outdoors;
  • Rejuvenate   people through creative pursuits inspired by nature;
  • Re-connect   people with some of Wales' wildest places which can sometimes appear as hidden secrets and out of reach of people, namely our nature reserves.

Overall Aim

We want to get better at connecting people with their local nature reserves; informing them why they're so special for wildlife and people. We want everyone to have a chance to visit these places. If people feel inspired about their local place for nature, we believe it helps create a sense of belonging.

What do we hope to achieve ?

We would like to ask local communities if they would help us create and illustrate new nature resources, including a new Reserves Handbook.

With your help we want to incorporate creative ideas to help connect people with each of our seventeen nature reserves.

How do I get involved?

If you'd like to know more about the project, please get in touch with the RWT People & Wildlife Officer Suzie Fraser on suzie@rwtwales.org

There are also several events lined up from April to September as part of this project.  Click here to find out more.  Do come along!
