About the event

If you have an interest in fungi, lichens and all things Autumnal then come along and learn to identify signs of the season. The walk will be guided by local botanist Ray Woods, who will discuss the ecology of woodlands as they enter the colder months.

Guide books will be available to borrow and Ray will be on hand to answer any queries, so you don't have to be an expert to join!

What to bring

The site is steep and sturdy walking boots are a must. A walking stick may be required if needed. There are no facilities on site so please be mindful to bring any water, and food, you may want.
