Welcome to the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust Events Guide.

 

Each year our small dedicated team of staff arrange events for the forthcoming year. Events are open to all and most are free of charge.  Where a charge is quoted, the lesser charge is for RWT members. To join the trust, simply ring the office on 01597 823298 and ask for an application form to be sent to you in the post.

Salmon Leap Print
Wednesday, 18 November 2009, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
This is the first of 5 organised Salmon Leaps being held at the Gilfach Nature Reserve. Watch the annual spectacular as the salmon arrive back at the Gilfach Nature Reserve to spawn in the Marteg's shallows.   Numbers are limited to 12 people per watch, so booking is essential.  (FULLY BOOKED)

TRAVEL

If you would like to take part in an event but have no means of transport, please contact the office, as we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can offer a lift.

 

SAFETY

For walking events, please be sure to come prepared.

Waterproofs and stout footwear are always advised, as is a drink and sufficient food.

Insect repellent, a hat and sun cream are advised in the warmer weather.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and dogs must be kept on a lead please.
